Chad Morris (Who I think would be really good)
Les Miles (Who if paired with HCIW Tee Martin would be good, Also would be paired with Chavis as DC)
Auburn DC Kevin Steele
Georgia DC - Mel Tucker
Clemon DC - Brent Venebles.
I think its gonna be Chad Morris... If so, would be great hire for Tenn.

Maybe but he is right. Signs right now are pointing to Morris.

Of that list I'd go with Morris or Tucker.
Why would Miles be great with Martin at UT? He had COUNTLESS chances to fix the offense at LSU and simply refused to do so. He would still be the HC at LSU if he wasn't so damn stubborn. So now, all of a sudden, he's going to change his offensive philosophy?
The shine has worn off on Chavis. This isn't the 90's and early '00's. His defenses were average, at best, at A&M. Now, he's going to go to UT, with less talent, and make them a great defensive team?

Not sure, i think his ego took a hit.. but he would create stability and would recruit well for 2-3 years and then could hand it off to Tee with Chavis as his DC till he retires.. I would say its the safest play out of everyone.. But I think Morris has incredible upside.. I think hes the real deal..
Venables maybe.
Tucker maybe..
Steele, hes had his chance..nope

It has nothing to do with that. He would inject stability into a program that is spiraling. He would win the should win games UT has been losing. He would build a recruiting base.
If the offense was more open than it was here it would be great. But a Les hire means that they understand that the foundation of the program needs to be rebuilt. Of the people available he is far and away the best for that task.

Weird how Tennessee isn't a big as a destination as many thought.

I think Steele has some weird tenure connection or something with the state of Alabama that he doesn't want to abandon

Not even for $4M+/yr? And a 5 year contract?

I hope they get Les.
Kevin Steele would be worse than Butch and Derek Dooley.
At least Tucker and Venables havent been given a shot yet.
Morris has a worse resume than Butch did when he was hired though

Maybe but something has Norvell blackballed from a bigger job. Rumors abound and tArk is close enough to Memphis to have heard them. All we heard 'officially' was that there was something in his background that came up.
Believe a poster on tRant said it was drinking, gambling, and womanizing.

If Miles goes to Tenn, Tee Martin wont. He saw who got scapegoated each year at LSU
Tee Martin is just a name you throw around, like O did with Kiffen
It will end up being Miles and Cam and Chavis

I'd take miles from that list, if not go after Leach.

The morons on their board still think Petersen is available for them.
