If it's not a Les + Tee combo, bring me Venables. I think he would be a good fit at Tennessee with his recruiting and it would be nice to see VOLS bring that dick heat on defense.
I would take Pruitt over the other three. Steele is fricking gross but might be ok if he brings a stud staff with plenty of VOLS on it. I can't put my thumb on it but there's just something about Morris that I do not like.

Tee Martin is just a name you throw around, like O did with Kiffen
Had Kiffin not gotten the FAU job he would be at LSU right now.

Les + Tee over all the others by a country mile.
Arky really wants Morris and we just, well, eh. Morris is a fallback, just in case option.
This is also a very early list. He's gonna talk to a bunch of coaches.
One thing about Fulmer that the vast majority of the fricktards are simply ignoring or are too stupid to figure out, is that Fulmer is a 100% football guy, he's a guy that is respected throughout the coaching community. He's good friends with coaches all across the country, he can get meetings with coaches that our last 3 ADs could only dream of.
He's not a typical AD who just talks about money, he's a guy that can talk to coaches comfortably about football and the school he loves more than anything. He's also a monster recruiter and a hell of a salesman.
Underestimate him, you should not.

It's getting late in the day to take a school's sitting head coach.
What's with these schools not having their short lists ready on day 1?

If Tennessee makes the monumental mistake of hiring Les Miles, all decent quarterbacks will avoid Tennessee like the plague. On the brighter side it will be fun to watch him eat grass, trying to interpret what the hell he just said, and watching him screwing up managing the clock.

He applied for like 6 jobs. He wasnt coming to LSU
He said told Aleva that to help O get the job

O said he was coming to LSU only if he couldn't get a head coaching job. Hence, almost as soon as he announced his head coaching job, O went after Canada.

If Phat Phil goes for someone other than Les or Venables, it's a poor decision

Per Pete Thamel, Les Miles is not a candidate.

Other names that could end up being bandied around are SMU’s Chad Morris, Toledo’s Jason Candle and Memphis coach Mike Norvell. Former LSU coach Les Miles is not a candidate.

Who the frick is Jason Candle

So phat Phil wants someone with HC experience, but Les is off the table while some dude from Toledo named Candle is on
Pete Thamel likes to eat donkey shite while it's raining

You forgot to add that Fulmer is a backstabbing POS.
I hope you hire Steel. Schiano is 5X the head coach Steele is. Maybe you can boycott by saying that the rape culture at Baylor started under Steele. Maybe a few politicians will join in the character assassination.

I always lol hearing this from people that don't follow Tennessee. Can you enlighten me with what happened between Fulmer and Majors please TIA

Why don’t you explain to me why Currie was able to make a nice recovery from the Schiano fallout and had two offers extended to quality hires in Brohm and Leach only to have the school president shut it down. And then “coincidentally” fire Currie and replace him with Mr Krispy Kreme himself, the man who was passed over 8 months ago for the Currie hire?

Wow. Someone is bitter about something. Probably just life in general.

The answer has been posted otb numerous times in the last week so it would help if you did some research on a subject you are very clearly passionate about. I mean, you're trying to defend a guy that will be fired with cause lol
Also you should read into Fulmer/Majors a little more because "zomg he backstabbed him on his death bed!" is such a lazy, uninformed take
