re: CFB's new fastest player is coming to the SEC this fall. Let's get to know him. - Prof
No, it fricking doesn't unless you're world famous like Usain Bolt.
Yeah it does but like I said in my post it's on the elite end and simply being a pro track athlete isn't the elite end of the pay scale. Track money is in endorsements and appearances. 150 athletes in the top ...

re: CFB's new fastest player is coming to the SEC this fall. Let's get to know him. - Prof
If he's that fast he should've listened to Lewis. Adding the weight he needs for football will make him slower plus the risk of injury is far greater. Track pays really well if you're at the elite end of it. That said, if it's his dream to play football I hope he does well in it....
I'm legit irl broken up about this. We will never have another one like him.
When I first saw your post on tRant, it brought tears to my eyes. That reaction kinda shocked me but when I thought about it for a moment it started to make sense. For most of us, some of the happiest ch...

re: Legendary Vols Announcer John Ward has passed away - Prof
I know many Georgia fans who used to do the same with Munson. Don't know of a single play-by-play man today who warrants that. Not that they're bad by any stretch, just not as memorable.
They both came from a different era and understood the power that radio can have. It's pr...
his basketball calls were great, with signature expressions, too. "Woods at the top of the key,to Jackson over to Grunfeld..BOTTOM!"
I've heard a lot of fans say that as good as he was at football he was even better at basketball calls. He was crazy talented. ...

re: Legendary Vols Announcer John Ward has passed away - Prof
We used to mute the Tv and listen to Ward. We even brought headsets to games so we could listen to him in the stadium. The delay between the radio and the live action didn't matter. The memories he helped shape were amazing. Thanks for everything, John. You'll be missed. :wah:...

re: Intriguing quotes from Presidents/politicians throughout history regarding - Prof
The difference is all those players are individuals or unique groups with their own self-interests rather than say a single organization that controls government from behind the scenes. Nothing unites the individuals and orgs -- they each act on their own behalf. IOW, there's no grand plan and n...

re: Is anyone here really against homosexuality? - Prof
We're not all gay though. Only a small minority. And considering how overpopulated much of the world is and how scarce many resources are, a rising percentage of gays would actually be beneficial to the overall human race. Nature has its own methods of population control and there's n...

re: Lawless - Prof
If it's an ACT score that can be fixed/retaken but it would be on the ACT's schedule AND he'd have to put a lot of work into getting a minimum score he needs. For eligibility they tend to use a combo of grades/scoring so theoretically a high ACT can help bad grades (one guy might only need a 19 whil...
