eh Kelly doesn't really strike me as a great recruiter. He seems to fit better with the type of kids he recruits at ND.

Those players under a disciplinarian like Kelly would be an interesting experiment for FSU. He's definitely the polar opposite of Taggart

My first thought too. I think that's exactly what FSU needs whether it's Kelly or not.
