2 of the 3 OCs now in the crosshairs of Saban

Supposedly 3 are on top of the list now for Saban, Schottenhiemer OC at NY Jets, and Koetter OC at Jacksonville Jags, not sure on the 3rd.
Btw really hate the way Muschamp hired Pease at UF. He interviewed like 20 guys without even bringing in Pease then there was a rumor Saban was interested and both sides put feelers out, Saban was ready to bring him in to interview (and likely offer, they have history and he covets that).
All of a sudden without any kind of interview Muschamp throws a massive contract (5 yrs 500k/yr) and "OC Freedom" at him without even meeting him.
It felt to me like he waited around on hiring a candidate until Saban closed in on a guy and all of a sudden offers him once Saban shows interest, and btw tells him deal is off the table if you go meet Saban in Tuscaloosa on Tuesday.

Schotty's wife is from Al and hates it in NJ
Koetter has extensive HC experience

Schotty is young and can probably clean up a bit in recruiting.
In sure his play calling could improve with some of the best talent in college football.

makes sense Saban would want an NFL guy. Hard to find many college offenses not running some sort of spread, and that's not his style.

The NYJs = 21st passing, 22nd rushing in the NFL.

You're an idiot. Pease was at UF's bowl practice, and interviewed with Muschamp. You're so fricking ignorant, and once again, don't have your facts straight.
Jenkins is 100% to Bama. Dumb arse.

Please no on Schottenheimer. He's horrible.
Koetter I'd be cool with, but I don't see a guy with that much HC experience taking a job under Saban.

Schotty was fired tonight by the Jets. ESPN posted a story 7 min ago.

It's really hard to get NFL players to even listen to you. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

he's coaching Sanchez, old arse Plaxico, and whoever else they have. Not exactly a pro bowl offense there

the jets have horrible players on offense, what would you expect?

They've had some good ones, though... And a good line. I didn't watch them much this year so I'm speaking mostly on last year. I know they replaced Braylon with Plax.

No No NO! He has INSIDE SOURCES. He's always right.

Not the problem, at all.
Trust me on this, Schotty/Schoddy/Schitty is not a good OC. He's not even a good QB coach, a case can be made that is is responsible for Drew Brees' inconsistency in San Diego.

not saying that he's a good coach or that he would be a good hire.
