Great book and it is Greg Jennings.

Finished up this weekend on The Judas Gate and The Wolf at the Door. Sean Dillon by Jack Higgins. Started The Devil is Waiting last night. Same series.

The biography of the meanest man to ever play professsional baseball.

It is called Cobb of course. About Ty Cobb, the legendary baseball player.

It is written by the man who spoke almost daily and traveled with Cobb at the close of his life to write this.

Finally finished the biography of Huey Long by T Harry Williams. The book was interesting as hell, but man is it a long read.

I'm starting on the 7 1/2 Death of Evelyn Hardcastle next.

re: What are you reading?
ehhhh

I wanted to read 100 books this year.

here's where i'm at so far:

Disturbia
Lizzie
The seance
Enchantress of numbers
What survives of us
Where light enters
The journey is our home
The enchanted life of Adam hope
Love beyond time
Where the crawdads sing
And then she vanished
Deadlock trilogy bk 1
Deadlock trilogy bk 2
Deadlock trilogy bk 3
The gone world
the soloist
small town rumors
the sunstone brooch
the scrying
the hallowed
the arcania
Lewis and clark
The sword of Merlin
Nickel bricklebee
Off leash
Dragon school first flight
Dragon school initiate
dragon school book 3
dragon school book 4
dragon school book 5
Slade House; a novel

honestly no books to truly brag about...just working through a few months of kindle purchases. No stand out books.

Just about to finish: “When a Crocodile Eats the Sun” by Peter Godwin.

I think next might be his other two memoirs. I’m fascinated about Rhodesia/Zimbabwe history

re: What are you reading?
It was very good...I usually don't like the trendy books but this one was a decent read.

I recommend it for sure.
