It is a historical fiction novel. Accounts the life from childhood to adulthood of an extraordinary man. The Spanish show up and get this man's account of his life and culture. Stunning in every way. It is long, but worth every single page. It has it all, war, love and conquest.

Just finished Red Pill by Hari Kunzru

Finished What is the What by Dave Eggers a few days ago, which I thought was fantastic. Anyone read Zeitoun by him?
