Tesla: Man Out Of Time
by Margaret Cheney

Tesla was so advanced compared to his peers. It's unreal.

Finished up the Thrawn Trilogy and started The Shadow of What Was Lost a few days ago

Almost 200 pages in and I'm really liking it so far.

You need to tackle 'Atlas Shrugged' next if you haven't already. Great book.

I reread it every few years. I really do think it might be my #1 favorite book.

Cryptonomicon, nearly done with the audio version. What a colossal bad-arse of a book. I've read it before, but it's been a while. If you have any geek in you this is a fantastic read. Some great characters and dialogue and can be funny as hell.

Yea I'm on an echo of what was lost now.

Not too far into it and don't love it like I did shadow of what was lost but I'm hoping it picks up.

I got excited when I saw the third one already on Amazon but it doesn't come out until February 2019

How was it? I think want to read it, but it takes commitment to read an Isaacson biography.

Pale Rider by Laura Spinney.

It's about the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918 to 1920. Between 50 and 100 million died and ~500 million caught it at a time when the world population was ~1.5 billion.

It's pretty interesting and and not overly technical. Definitely worth reading.
