Chernow’s bio on Mark Twain.

If you have an image of Mark Twain as a folksy river boat captain in an old timey white suit, don’t read the book, he’s kind of an a-hole.

While I love Chernow, his books and his style puts me sleep so fast. It’s like ambien dust emanating from the pages.

I’m about 250 pages into this one myself and it’s been okay so far

The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones. Native American/Western Frontier vampire story interwoven through multiple generations and with a bit of a cultural twist on it. Really enjoying it so far.

Max Brand. Jeanne Guyon's autobiography and her Final Steps In Christian Maturity. Spurgeon, Whitefield, and Fenelon always. Also a lot of W. Phillip Keller. Serenity being the one I just finished.
