Was reading the Exorcist but I hated Blatty's writing style. Only made it to the right past the dinner party and stopped.
So I started It. Have made it to the phone call to Richie. Have never read, but I have seen the miniseries when I was a kid. Not sure how much I'll remember.

Dragon Teeth by Crichton (collaboration), same style as Eaters Of The Dead, I'm actually a little disappointed so far.

Clandestine political violence by Donatella Della Porta. Basically a political theory book on the different types of terrorist groups (leftist, rightist, ethnonationalist, and religious)
Interesting read so far.

Just started this one. Hope it's as good as the first two Kingsbridge novels.

On Growth and Form by D'arcy Wentworth Thompson. Dense with a lot of complex mathmatic formulae and footnotes in German and Latin. Its an important book because it looks more into the mathematical foundation for pattern and shapes in nature than Darwin's theory that only aesthetically pleasing traits shape the morphology of nature. Not recommended for casual readers but a fascinating read if you stick with it.

Dunkirk: Fight to the last Man by Hugh Sebag-Montefiore
Extremely meticulous history, not exactly a beach read but some of the anecdotal history is awesome

Just finished Live By Night and it was absolutely awesome. I would say that's the best (or one that I enjoyed the most) book I've read in many years. Highly recommend

The new one, forget the name is fantastic. Much better than the previous series. Very well done, although a little cheap at times.
