At the Wall, when gazing into the fires, Melisandre sees a wooden face, corpse white, a thousand red eyes, and a boy with a wolf's head beside him. She thinks to herself that they must be the Great Other's champions, as King Stannis is hers. [3]
Further evidence in the text ties the Last Greenseer, Bloodraven, the Old Gods, and Bran Stark to the theme of darkness that draws The Great Other into opposition with R'hllor. The vision of Melisandre pointing towards Bloodraven and Bran as champions of The Great Other is corroborated in this exchange:
“ There he sat, listening to the hoarse whispers of his teacher. 'Never fear the darkness, Bran.' The lord's words were accompanied by a faint rustling of wood and leaf, a slight twisting of his head. "The strongest trees are rooted in the dark places of the earth. Darkness will be your cloak, your shield, your mother's milk. Darkness will make you strong." [4] ”
In an apparent paradox, on one hand the attractive Melisandre and her "Lord of Light" R'hllor clearly display "evil" practices such as human sacrifice in their magic. On the other hand, the twisted Bloodraven and broken Bran (a universally sympathetic character) use the darkness as their ally to merge with nature and apparently aid the forces of "good." However, the true motivations of Bloodraven and the children of the forest are not yet apparent. Such devices of anti-achetype are hallmarks of the series.

It drives me crazy. I know TCOF said Coldhands died a long time ago and that. I guess I want it to be Benjen. The character was cool even though he was just in the book a little bit, and the actor playing Benjen looked cool.
I guess when/if they introduce Coldhands in the show and he looks like Benjen we'll know. Now if a different actor is cast and later on we find out it's Benjen that'd be pretty weak

True, but we're not sure what happened to Jojen yet as he may also have been sacrificed to enhance Bran's abilities.

Are we watching/reading the same thing? Where do you get this?
Have you seen any evidence of anyone else being turned? The night's king and his watch, along with craster's sons are the only recorded cases of WW's turning live humans. The night's king also sacrificed to the others.
We have no evidence of women being turned or evidence of non night's watch men being turned. An argument could be made that they only turn former men of the night's watch and their offspring, or oathbreakers if you will.
I am spitballing but it looks as if only night's watch and their "unholy sacrifices" can become others.

WW. Wights are mindless zombies, I look at them as more of cannon fodder/minions than actual beings.

Do we have much evidence of the Others period? What we do have evidence of is of them turning a live human into one of them. Why couldn't they do the same to another one. And before you say "Why don't they take other people?" whose to say they haven't? We have no idea on their actual numbers. Anything we say about the Others is basically a shot in the dark, so I don't see why your evidence is any better than ours.

We never have evidence of women being turned
The Night's King took one to wife. And why would we have seen female Others? No one has women in their army (aside from Wildings and Renly), so why would we have had the opportunity to see one?

So a buddy sent me a link to the GoT porno. My thoughts:
1. Tyrion is some dude who walks around on his knees. It is funny as shite.
2. Sansa's carpet matches the drapes.
3. SPOILER Varys isnt really a eunoch.
4. The Dany/Doreah scene is

Just seems pretty suspicious to me that right after Coldhands kills a few men from the Night's Watch conveniently north of the Wall, and somehow returns with pig meat, the animal most similar to us, I can only conclude that Coldhands killed them and then fed everyone else their flesh.
