idk...I envisioned the other 12 that were pictured looked more like the Other who changed the baby - not like the White Walker that delivered the baby to them.

I know, I was just clarifying what the other guy said.
We already saw a few White Walker "rangers" I guess you could call them. The ones that look like old men with long white hair who seem to patrol the not so north parts of the North

Interesting things that we know: -It appears that only men of the night's watch, or their sacrificed baby boys, can become others.
We know anyone can become a Wight. Girls, kids, wildlings, NW, ya momma, anyone.
As far as becoming an Other/White Walker, we don't know how many are out there, or how old they are. It says they've been waking up, so there could be thousands of them.
They are the Generals and the Wights are their Army.
And yes, they are bad/evil.

because they look evil! Just mentally draw a goatee on them
Kinda like this guy?
Joffrey and Ramsay are evil. As for the Others...I'll wait.

I think they're evil because it's so hard to kill them. They aren't just immortal with old age it takes something specific to kill them.
I want to know how many there is out there. When they were marching in the finale of season 2 does anyone know how many were riding dead horses leading the Wights? And are the naked Others different from the cloaked Others?

I think they're easier to kill than we think. Truth is, we don't know shite about them...yet.
Mankind fears what it does not understand.

The one that brought the baby was not wearing a cloak and was standing across from them.
And, yes, the 13 are different. They are wearing black, for starters. The one that they showed also looked less grizzled and had horns.

I don't consider saving a freezing baby that's been abandoned in the woods, then arming it with whatever instant evolution necessary to survive without heat, an evil act. They haven't stolen anything.
They ride dead animals because the heat from live ones would kill them.
Why are they monsters again?
yup

why do y'all think that they only take boys? Is it a WW thing or did Craster just want more, er, wives? They lead us to believe that the Walkers only want boys.
I think you're onto something. Craster was just looking for a way to get rid of the male babies and dumped them in the forest. the white walkers saved them

Does anyone think there's a possibility that HBO has just dumbed it down and that they may be combining the concept of the Night's King and the Great Other? First of all, they've never called them the Others in the show. Secondly, I just really can't believe that the Night's King would have survived his reign and not immediately killed. He has to be the most notorious and infamous ruler in the history of the Seven Kingdoms. I just think that the Night's King will rise again, but the Great Other has been around since the start and was waiting for the perfect time to strike.

Do you think it could be an office like The Sword in The Morning?

I think it's someone who is fully grown human and realizes what he is doing, and then corrupted into an Other.

Happened or gonna happen? I've read people saying Stannis would be taken and corrupted.
Is Benjen anywhere or dead?

My first thought about the use of "Night's King" in the HBO Go description is that they were just using Night's King as shorthand for "The Leader of the Others". It's just their way of identifying the leader of the Bad Guys.

You may have heard it from me, but I think that Stannis will become the next Night's King as the Epilogue to Winds of Winter.

I don't think he's dead. I think he's somewhere in the Lands of Always Winter, and if I had to bet, he's our most likely prologue character in Winds of Winter.

You all will appreciate this.
My brother only watches the show. He just called me and said that someone was at his house saying that Jon Snow is the rightful king. He wanted me to get on the phone and tell the guy that he's wrong.
My response to my brother, "sit down, we need to talk."

Well do you think he's Coldhands? I always think he is, cause I didn't imagine him surviving if he wasn't
