I think the series is going to end different from the books. HBO will have Dany as Queen and the Books will have Tyrion as king.
Seems like something Martin would do. Plus the series is going to over take the books in about two more years.

I don't see it, IF he survives the series with power it will be as hand or lord of Casterly rock or something.
If he winds up without power he'll live across the narrow see, maybe become wealthy there.
Or he'll die

My idea of Tyrian's future,
When Dany and Jon (or at least one of them) end up saving Westeros and winning it all, they offer the position of Hand of the Kind and Lord of Casterly Rock to Tyrian. Tyrian considers it and says, "On second thought, there's not many whores in Lannisport these days."
He then sails off into the sunset with a huge chest of gold, destined for where he learned where whores go, to the dominion of the God of Tits and Wine.
Pod tags along and together they star in a spin-off about them renting an apartment together in the French Quarter of New Orleans called "The Imp Easy".

Dany as Queen?
Honestly I have no idea who will sit on the throne at the end. Westeros may end up splitting into 7 kingdoms like pre-Aegon the Conquerer.

Yeah, plus he has absolutely ZERO claim to the throne, at least on the surface, unless that Tyrion/Targaryen crackpot theory proves true. I don't see people rallying around his cause to get him power, due to his status as a dwarf/Kingslayer/Kinslayer. Besides, Varys is in the process of ruining the Lannister family altogether, and Tyrion's helping to play a role in that cause (in addition to getting "Aegon" on the throne). I see his function in the series as more of an advisory role.

Not possible. They're devoting two seasons to book 3 alone. There is no way that they'll be able to cover books 4 and 5 in one season. I'm still wondering if they're going to bring House Martell into the series or if they're just going to find a way around them and end it with the current stock of families. I would love for Oberyn "The Red Viper" Martell to make an appearance and have his fight against Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane.

You're in luck. 'Cause they've (this board and other places) reported that they are casting the Red Viper.

My beloved Crackheads...life sure can get in the way of good thread reading...
So glad y'all like the banner...did I make sense with "infinity" in between "light of truth" and the "blank pages"? Take that, lazy trending fat man...
I have to agree that Jeyne W and Talissa are the same character with different back stories...Robb only had one wife with which to piss off Walder Frey...
But
Fatman's comment about a character killed in the show but not books has to be her...
Or Walder Frey's latest young wife - I liked that better than Jinglehead...balls...Jang-a-Lang (I be da pappy) inbred Aegon Frey.
That was a pathetic trade in the books...
Didn't someone else die on the show/Still alive in the books?
The fact that the Blackfish was portrayed as hiding in the bathroom pisses me off to no end. Makes me wanna slap some writers with a dead fish.
Wrong thread, I know, but what a shitty episode to end season on...they didnt do Arya any justice with the stab scene IMO. I wanted to hear "Is there gold in the village...etc" in between thrusts.
Better season ender for her would have been like the book- Hit with an axe by who knows and cut to black. No mercy.
Make em worry like we did. It's what put the icing on TRW cake for me.

I agree, but I think they're waiting for a later episode to do that since the Hound is still okay. In the book he was hurt during that fight so I'm thinking it doesn't happen until about episode 5 or 6 unless they plan on showing Arya in Braavos rather than leaving for it by the end of season 4.

100% agree. probably would've seen a few reaction videos where the remotes go through the TV.

I'm going to disagree. The look in her eyes was void of any emotion after killing him. She has found her calling and it definitely foreshadows her ultimate journey to Braavos.

Your posts have been cracking me up.
Seriously, I want to ask GRRM if we're going to learn more about Hodor in the next 2 books.
Hot Pie will probably break the Dragon's back.

Daario Naharis has positioned himself well for a spot in the saddle. But I think he'll die and someone else will get his dragon.

There's a lot of speculation on Westeros that the word Hodor means something pretty important. Maybe something to do with dragons or some supernatural northern thing.

I'm thinking that controlling the dragons will continue to be a problem for Dany. I'll even go out on a limb and say that it will be a major part of the storyline in TWOW. Here's my crackpot theory:
Dany comes back on Drogon, but she's still pretty much along for the ride. Euron arrives with the dragonhorn and is able to bind the dragons and they use them to win the battle of Mereen. BUT, Euron tries to take the dragons for himself, so they have to destroy the dragonhorn to prevent Euron or others from taking them from her. At some point later, warging becomes the solution for controlling the dragons.
I see Jon as the second as Dany's husband and Bran as the third. It would be poetic for Bran the cripple to be able to fly. There have actually been subtle hints to that in the earlier books.

I just can't see this happening. They have never met and are on opposite sides of the world. Jon still has to be raised and I think that whole situation will take up most of the next book (that is, if he actually comes back and thus, be released from his vows)
So Dany has to come back to Westeros, met Jon, get married, wage a war.

I like your theory except as someone noted about the husband part... but what if 2 of Dany's dragons die but Bran and Jon find their own dragons... For instance Bran finds the theorized Ice Dragon and Jon resurrects the dragon at Dragonstone. Crackpot but just a thought...
ETA: Bran doesn't really fit with Targareyn/ dragon story though and think his story is more to do with the Others
