On Saturday afternoon, ESPN's NFL crew got together before the day's two games, that's when former Bills head coach Rex Ryan got emotional talking about Damar Hamlin's recovery...

Is Legend the right word here? It's his 2nd year and he has a heart condition.

I might say Inspiring...but all of us who hoped and prayed had just as much to do with this recovery as he had...giving the medical crew the lion's share here.

Don't think that the millions of prayers, wishes, desires for a positive outcome here didn't slap Damar's soul and say, "Hey mission accomplished...why don't you stay?"

ESPN and it's employees crying live on national TV, name a more iconic duo

They have test shots for this sort of weakness.

I sobbed for Damar longer and harder than Rex (and any of you, for that matter), therefore I am a better person.

Do we know how many people have actually died since Hamlin's episode? A lot.

Glad he's recovering, but the virtue signaling is getting nauseating.

Don’t get these negative comments. That seemed pretty real to me.

I agree, this looked real.

Just a lot of really lonely, unhappy people in the comment section. Seems like any emotion at all is frowned upon. It's so weird.

Pretty damn good acting then. I think you and the rest of the comment section is just looking for something to rag on. All this gooey show of emotion isn't manly and must be mocked.

Hamlin gonna have a plethora of Rex's wife's feet pics in his inbox.

I wish Hamlin a full recovery and all but this is just way too overly dramatic.
