my brother went through that same type thing back in the '90's. skin grafts and infections. almost lost the leg below the knee. still looks nasty but he barely has any noticeable limp.

This guy is pure man. Holy cow I googled the infection pic and I would have said cut it off. Alex, take you wife, kids and all your money and run. It’s not worth it

Not that it matters at all to the Redskins organization; but I don’t even want to think about the medical bills that have been incurred as a result of this. I had what was described as a “devastating” injury to my ankle and tibia & fibula about three years ago. Only had to have two surgeries and some hardware inserted—a drop in the bucket compared to this story. My health insurance was solid. But the ultimate bill(s) and my out of pocket expenses were sick. He seems so upbeat; I can’t even. God bless everyone involved.

Easy for me to say, but I think I’d where a prosthetic below the knee for the rest of my life if the only other option was to look like he currently does.

I assume he walks with a noticeable limp.

Stuff like this happens with post op infections. If he had had a straightforward post op course I doubt his leg would have ended up all jacked up with skin grafts and muscle grafts.

Really hate that for him. His kids went to my daughter's school here in KC and I got to meet him a couple of times. Really nice guy.
