Ambient air temperature had nothing to do with the thing icing up. When under pressure, as in before opening the drink, the freezing temperature drops. So the liquid could be at 29 degrees but the pressure lowers the freezing temperature to 25 degrees for example, so when unopened the contents remains in a liquid state. When opened and the pressure is released, the freezing temperature rises to 32 degrees and any liquid below that temperature will freeze.
