Unfortunately, New Orleans Saints safety Marcus Williams will always be remembered for missing tackle on Vikings WR Stefon Diggs that led to their walk-on game-winning touchdown. Here is Macrus explaining what happened after the game...

You are a DB. In the NFL. You are suppose to know how to tackle. But, you absolutely must at least try to tackle.

Heard a Minnesota Fan say that they were "America's Team"...because they didn't Kneel. Wonder if Williams kneeled? Minor point....depending...on whether Karma is real...or bs.

Stood there like a man and answered questions. The shite first half cost us the game. This kid will be just fine.

S Marcus Williams made a great play on the INT he had after the Michael Thomas TD. Granted this was one of the most boneheaded plays in the history of the New Orleans Saints but that the change the fact the this kid balled out all year for us and made about 4 or 5 INT's as a rookie. I have no doubt in my mind that next year Williams is going to make a few plays for the defense to redeem himself this kid is going to be a Pro-Bowl S for us but he did blow it big time and it will be remembered.

he had no appreciation for the game situation. All he needed to do was wrap up the receiver and keep him inbounds. Game over.

Look. I said it on the board and his answers here pretty much prove it. Kid is a great athlete that is dumb as a fricking stone.

It's called tackling, not HEAD BUTTING.

Just another DB that refuses to use his arms when tackling. Must use the same technique book as LSU.

I'll tell you what happened - he had money on the game and missed that tackle on purpose. He was nowhere close to the receiver. There should be an investigation.

oh shut the frick up - if he had hit Diggs when it looked like he could have, he would have been early and drew a DPI penalty - he made a mistake and it cost the team - shite happens. move on.

You don't think a PI is a preferable outcome to that play?

Feel terrible for a rookie that had a great first season. Kid is gonna be a good for us and we'll need him. Rooting for him to bounce back big!
