Yeah, I had the exact same reaction. Wife looks at me, says, "really? Alabama just got another title and that's not bothering you?" I said 'yep, it's bothering me' and turned the channel to NatGeo so I wouldn't have to see another Saban trophy presentation. Gundy though... ice veins :pimp:

Fitzgerald's response to whoever asked "how'd that happen" was best part. He laid out exactly how it happened, so correctly and matter of fact that it was almost condescending. It was like, "are you kidding me? why the frick are you a coach? An 18 yr old picked it up."

you realize that's been completely taken out of context. His rant was against attacking a player. Gundy said you could attack him because he was a 40 year old man, whereas the player was just a 20 year old kid.

I seent it when it happened. It was against a local reporter that had written disparaging remarks about his starting quarterback. It is still funny all these years later. I did gain a healthy serving of respect for him, just for taking up for his player. The reporter was an arrogant prick who thought he was important.
