No rooting interest in this one but that was a really bad call, a total flop.

Well, it's according to how they been calling it all game. But that chick looked like Mason Taylor blocking on an end-around.

No it wasn’t clean. And UCONN was fouling out the arse the whole game and holding Clark like crazy and getting away with it. They deserved to lose and get the foul called on them

I wish refs would stay out of late game play. Especially when the call is borderline. Let these teams play the game out without interfering. If there is an aggressive type of foul, fine, call it. This isn’t close to that. Let the damn teams play. We didn’t have a player come close to fouling out all year until we got into the tournament. That tells me something negative is going on. We had huge games all year and we didn’t have a player foul out all year until it mattered most. The refs need to stay out of these games and let these teams play it out. Especially late!! Period end of discussion.

The call was consistent with how the game had been called up to that point. The U-Conn player had the screen set and then extended her shoulder.

How the hell do you “extend a shoulder”?

She shoved her elbow into the girl. Of course it was a foul and at a crucial time.

Like the Clark cult has been for the entire past year! Lol!

Better than who? Are saying Clark is a better athlete than Angel Reese. Unbelievable, never, both are good athletes but angel is the better of the two. Not on here you’re going to play that game. This is a site for the LSU tigers. LSU all day everyday. Geaux Tigers!

Reese took home the only prize(ring) that mattered. Ask Catlin what she would rather have Elite 8 win or Natty. I’ll wait on Clark’s answer. She’ll probably reply: “Is this a trick question?”

My opinion is that screens are so poorly run that most players probably don’t know what a good screen is. In a larger frame you can see her lean to make contact. Part of that is the other player didn’t use the screen properly and left too much space for the defender. So the screener has to make up the difference.

Dont care either way but looked to be bad call on video. When you slow it down the Iowa player caught her arm in the UConn players elbow which was tight to her body. Didnt see any lean into it

that call was the definition of a “ticky tack call”. You could see it in Geno’s reaction. The refs decided the outcome, not the players.

Yes it was a foul not going to choose no side because I'm a tiger all day but the truth is it was the right call. The girl who set the screen should have just gotten open to get the ball.she would have been open. As you can see 2 Iowa players are running to the uconn player with the ball. Uconn made bad shot selections and that was a poor play at the end.

call all of them or don't ever call in the last minute. that's an average screen these days and happens 20 to 30 times a game.

As a decent upper cut it wasn't very good but a screen is a body block in the path of a defender...not a jab to the chest or face...it was a foul plain and pretty simple.
