I love the animal activists who are so up their own arse and set on a predetermined stance that they are willing to condemn Tigers to much worse situations and captive habitats. Very few rescue reserves/sanctuaries offer a fraction of what the "Mike" life provides. As far being Mike goes in the Tiger World it is the equivalent of being "trapped" in Hollywood as an A List Actor. Mike lives better than 98% of the Louisiana population.

So if we found a tiger poorly treated and starving in a third-world zoo in Mexico or something they'd be opposed to us relocating it to a $12MM habitat with an entire college of capable veterinary students? LSU needs to play up the "adoption" angle rather than shoot for a baby tiger cub.
