Erich Schlegel-USA TODAY Sports
247Sports writer Nick Kosko released his Top 10 tailgating scenes in college football and put LSU at No. 1.
quote:

1. LSU
Perhaps the most legendary stadium in the sport, Death Valley is one of the most intimidating places for opponents to play. That gets even louder when the sun goes down in Baton Rouge and fans get rowdier. There is never a shortage of fans there to support the Tigers, which makes LSU one of the top tailgating scenes in the country. Now that Brian Kelly is in town after taking over as head coach, LSU suddenly has College Football Playoff and national championship expectations once again.
Alabama came in at No. 2 on the list, followed by Michigan at No. 3. Complete list.

"There is never a shortage of fans there to support the Tigers".....dude has clearly not been to a game and seen the stadium in the 4th quarter.

Texas#1... Austin has people staying in tents year round. They are parting with drugs and alcohol before after and during the season. Devout longhorn fans

List is shite. Don’t care if we are 1. Having bama and OM on this is horrendous

After going in in 2019, I’d boot Bama from the list entirely and add Texas.

Add Texas based on what exactly? I live here and nothing special tailgating on city blocks and parking lots entirely pretty much.

I’ve been there as an away fan and was honestly impressed by the set up in their quad. It was basically a tent city.

I’ve been many times. Their football team is legit. Their tailgating is shite. The gumps have no business being on this list.

Bama, like most places, is a crowd of people looking/walking/waiting around for the game to start. As in don’t be late to a doctor appt type mindset. LSU it’s an actual event before another event.
