Earlier this week, Joe Burrow talked about how he had to call some of his own plays vs the Titans last Saturday when his headset went out momentarily.

Here's were the plays he called, which all worked out in favor of the Bengals.

Great post. Thanks TD.

Obviously the coaching staff trusted him enough to call his own plays or they would've shuttled in other players w/ the play. I noticed on one of the plays they shuttled in a WR, but he didn't go to Joe w/ a play called from the sideline.

Should have let him the rest of the game. That coach is terrible at play calling. Not Peetz or Canada bad, but bad.

Burrow is so similar to Montana…and by the way, Montana was offered a b ball scholy to NC State and at 6’2, could dunk a basketball…Montana was a great athlete…

Burrow does not even take notes. That is a fact. Obviously, he is incredibly gifted mentally.

He reminds me of Joe Montana. His awareness of his teammates is incredible and he is cool in the pocket under pressure and deadly accurate.

Burrow is more accurate and a better athlete than Montana was.

Ice in his veins at a moment when most young QB’s would have come unraveled with that much on the line. Props big Joe.

All credit to Ed Orgeron for that. He made Joe Burrow as the world knows him now.
