Exactly

Perhaps he should've told his coach he wasn't good to play.

A real competitor never says uncle. That decision should've been taken out of his hands by a coach. A head coach.

Sure hope ole baw can turn it up for the second half of the season

CBK Fk up, Nuss could have gotten hurt for the year when you have MVB a better than average QB that could have played against the non-conference teams. This weekend will be interesting, Vandy is for real.

In my personal opinion Kelly did everything in his power to not start a QB controversy.

He sounds like he's actually saying he's still a little bit injured and trying to come back.

Anybody would feel helpless behind that o-line

Mascona said he was never hurt

I listen to his replays all the time. I’ve never once heard him say Nussmeier was never hurt.

Moscona also says a lot that isn't true... frequently.

People make stuff up to dunk on Moscona. I get the urge, but don’t be lying about it.

That swagger made dumb arse decisions, lost all mechanics and threw 2 Int’s.

I feel helpless watching him throw pick after pick

He was admitting he was hurt. Obviously he had more zip on the ball. There were 5 drops for at least a 100 yards. There kid was elite last year you think he cannot improve?
One thing he has had no running game till this one
, also would you like to play behind this o-line.

Usual swagger of two picks ?

Excuses…. If he’s that injured he shouldn’t play. We are just now getting into the meat of the schedule. What’s the next excuse?

Shut up. You knuckle draggers don’t know what you’re talking about. That’s not an excuse, it’s an admission of what anyone who had eyes to see could tell.

I always thought "helpless" meant you didn't feel helped by others. Hmm.

Looked awful against South Carolina. What Swagger? He threw two picks and had some very ugly pass attempts to what should've been open targets. He fumbled twice on back to back snaps inside the 3 yard line, one on a QB sneak from the freaking one. Lets quit hyping the kid and acting like injuries are the problem. He's been shite.

It sure would be a convenient excuse to get the ranters off his back, but Vanderbilt will show if it’s true.

But he told BK he wants to play!! Selfish.

If he felt that bad, you should have told Brian Kelly that you did not think you were in a position to help the team execute at 100% and recommend sitting it out. Selfish on Nuss and not real smart for Kelly to not rest and heal. We will see if he hits on all cylinders this week against Vanderbilt. This is a big game for LSU to make a damn statement on offense.

Explains why he is getting injured on non-contact plays.
