Kid has a good head on his shoulders, now he just needs a good weight gain diet which it does look like he has put on a little weight but not near enough.

Maybe this is finally the last generation of athletes to stop hamming up Katrina drama for the cameras. One can hope.

You oviously did not loose everything you ever earned or possessed in your life or would never make a statement like that. You just showed your ignorant insensitivity. It never goes away especially for young people that lived through every day of it for years.

dude stfo you don't know me at all. Also, all of the "young people that lived through every day of it for years" don't have to introduce themseleves with it as a preface every time a camera gets in their face. See 10+ years of LA football players for example. Just because it's true doesn't make it less annoying.

Big fan of his already but he might want to cool it with the "living on a boat in Destin" sob line. Thats like the Monopoly man having a case of the sads because Jos. A. Banks was out of top hats and canes.

Losing your home in Katrina is something so many of the LSU faithful can relate to. Obviously some people had it better than others. He's not crying about it. It may be a big part of his decision to play at LSU. Who knows.

His family made the best of a horrible situation. They had to move somewhere why not make an adventure out if it for their family instead of moping about it eveyday..

Articulate, poised, focused. This guy is going to be really good with a few seasons under his belt. Now go eat some protein and lots of rice in your gumbo.

Great kid! He comes from an awesome family. They are all very humble and awesome to be around. Fun fact: his first cousin Shelby is the LSU Cheerleading Coach.

There's no doubt he can, and will, put more muscle on his frame and there are plenty of personnel at LSU that are paid to make sure he does. He has the desire, that's 90% or the work right there. What I am really excited about is how talented of a passer this kid is. LSU has lacked this kinda guy for quite a while now, with a few flashes of talent (Mett). Remeber all of Brett Farve's records in Mississippi? Check again. They all belong to Myles Brennan now. Not sure when he will become the starter, but he will be at the helm sooner or later. And when he does, look out!

It wasn't Brett Favre. It was his nephew, Dylan.

How about some positive comments? This kid has a great head on his shoulders and is already more mature than 95 percent of Ranter trash fans. He clearly works his arse off, and was raised extremely well. I hope in time he can hone that anxiety toward focus and full confidence, but if anything it proves how driven, motivated and passionate he is. This kid is already a proven leader, and that is one of the most important traits of a QB. The future is bright indeed, whether its next year or in 3. Geaux Miles!!! Most rational and sane LSU fans that earned a degree understand the levity of your commitment. Keep working and great job!

Yeah he needs to get on the shakes!! He needs to work a little bit harder to be ready but I'm sure once he gets on campus the coaches will be pushing him if they know he's the man. He can gain at least 10 lbs maybe even 15 with the right people motivating and guiding him in a pretty short period of time. He's gonna gain the weight but it won't really come on until he gets on campus and has the right guidance. Let's get it
