USA Today is reporting that two former LSU students claim they were raped by former running back Derrius Guice when he was a freshman at the university in 2016.

Guice was recently released by the Washington Football team two weeks ago after he was arrested on domestic violence charges.

Two former Louisiana State University students say recently released Washington Football Team running back Derrius Guice raped them just months apart in 2016, when Guice was a rising star freshman on the LSU football team.

A USA TODAY investigation found that the women’s allegations were shared at the time with multiple people at the school — including at least two coaches, an athletics administrator and a nurse — yet the school does not appear to have investigated.

I'm not saying he didn't do it. Maybe he did. But we REALLY have to fix this stupid paradigm where for some reason, women get assaulted and tell everyone BUT the police. The school has no business investigating such things and the fact that it's been tasked with that is just dumb.

Probably should wait for a real investigation before deciding who is right or wrong. But having a credible domestic violence charge against you (enough to get you booted from your professional football team), and a similar accusation from two separate individuals, should give one pause if one's first inclination is to doubt. Based on the article, there's a chance Ed O was in the loop. There's a wide variety of potential outcomes here. Either way, it's a bad look for LSU.

Just saying if I (God forbid) get raped I’m not telling my personal trainer or the rapist’s boss. I’m telling the police.

Why didn’t the students tell the police?

Sounds like a phony hit job brewing - against Coach O. That same old 'what did he know, and when did he know it' narrative. Watch your 6, O.

Let the facts come out before we judge. We don't know who's innocent or guilty at this current moment.

With all the Art Briles/Baylor stuff going on at the same time, I find it hard to believe anyone associated with college athletics would try to sweep these allegations under the rug. Shame on anyone that tried.

If you actually read the article it paints a very different picture, with both girls saying he did the same thing.

Look where he played Washington DC. I’ll never believe these peoples lies, ever again in my life. And if they don’t like that, well then they shouldn’t have told all the lies about Russia, Ukraine, North Korea and the rest. There’s no way LSU did this. What dirty people these news organizations are now. Just filth, all of them. This might work at some other place but it’s not working here. When he’s found guilty and our own media do some investigating as well as the police and come up with some real evidence then this is simply lies imo.

“ A USA TODAY investigation found that the women’s allegations were shared at the time with multiple people at the school — including at least two coaches, an athletics administrator and a nurse — yet the school does not appear to have investigated.” It shouldn’t be the school’s responsibility to investigate, it should be on the police. Thanks, Obama.

Really? Coaches knew and did nothing? This was Miles' last season. He cut the Honey Badger for weed for God's sake. CEO took over after week 4 and routinely suspends players for weed, excuse me, they are not with the team for "personal reasons". This is trash.

Miles was gone by week 4, wasn't he?

Yes, CEO took over after Auburn.

Seriously, someone downvoted my comment that CEO took over after the Auburn loss in 2016. He did! Whoever downvoted that is either a troll or knows jack about LSU.

So wait, if multiple coaches were notified, were the police not notified? You don't just notify coaches when you get raped. Something isn't adding up here. And if any coaches tried to use the Urban Meyer model of sweeping things under the rug, well then they may be about to have the rug pulled out from under them (deservedly so if that is the case). But something seems off here.
