LSU wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase and cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. were both named to Sporting News' 2020 Preseason All-American first-team this week.
quote:

WR: Ja'Marr Chase, LSU
The 6-1, 200-pound receiver won the Biletnikoff Award with an incredible season that included 84 catches, 1,780 yards and 20 TDs in LSU's almost-unstoppable attack last season. He's the prototype big-time playmaker, and that gives new quarterback Myles Brennan a go-to receiver for the Tigers.

DB: Derek Stingley Jr., LSU
Stingleybacked up the five-star billing with a remarkable freshman season with the Tigers. He had six interceptions and 15 pass breakups for the national champions, and he was used in the return game. He's been compared to Charles Woodson, and that speaks to the generational talent Stingley brings to the field.

I would not have Hubbard there. Maybe it’s his new wokeness, but i believe there are better rb. As much as I hate to admit it, najee Harris should have been before Hubbard.

Our offense was completely stoppable, remember when we took a mercy kneel on the 4 to win the national championship? Stopped us dead in our tracks.

Feels like Etienne, Rousseau, Thibodeaux, and LeCounte should play for LSU :-)

That was a given. At least one of Chase and a Stingley should contend for the Heisman
