During his show on Monday, Rich Eisen and company debated which quarterbacks in the NFL they would rather have than Jayden Daniels right now.

According to Eisen, the list is very small...

I understand listing Lamar ahead of Jayden because he’s accomplished more but, if I had to pick between the two, I’d take Jayden in a heartbeat

No doubt, he is a much better passer than Lamar was when he first came into the league and JD will only get better. Amazing how last year's group - JD, Nabers & BT - ALL helped each other become better players at LSU which has translated to fast starts in the NFL. GT!

Anyone that would take Lamar Jackson over Jayden is crazy. Jayden was a better passer at LSU than Jackson ever has been or will be in the NFL. Jackson cannot consistently function as a passer from the pocket when he has to. Jayden thrives in or out of the pocket.

Daniels will be underrated until he crushes all the record books. It’s hard to accept that he is as accurate as he is. People have an idea how fast he is, but it’s just hard for people to see that he is the complete package.

He is already a better passer than Lamar, and maybe even… Allen? Not necessarily arm strength, but from a accuracy standpoint JD is 82% completion percentage, Allen is 70.

Daniels is as good as Lamar. The biggest difference is Daniels has an IQ higher than that of a gecko.

Jayden may be the first true ELITE passer and runner at QB. Talking potentially top 3 in passing and top 3 in running amongst QBs. Some QBs have entered 1 of these categories, but no one has entered both. Jayden I think will be first to do it.

Burrow is a top 3 QB. His coaches, scheme, and offensive line hold him back so hard it's not even funny. He brought them to a superbowl and 2 AFC championship games in spite of his support cast. The only positive thing the Bengals give burrow is Chase and Higgins.

Burrow, Mahomes, and Allen are the 3 best QBs in the league. Lamar is in that next tier.
