Sam Spiegelman with Rivals is reporting that LSU quarterback Myles Brennan will be entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Brennan broke his non-throwing arm during a freak accident when he fell during a fishing trip just before LSU's fall camp was set to begin this past August.

He was LSU's starting quarterback in 2020 but suffered a season-ending lower-body injury in Week 3 vs. Missouri.

Brennan signed with LSU's 2017 recruiting class, staying on board with the Tigers after Les Miles was fired during the 2016 season.

If he's a book smart kid, he ought to go where he can be developed and get a very valuable Master's degree [in case the NFL dream doesn't work out]. Transfer portal to Duke, UNC, Stanford, etc.

those schools have different admissions requirements for graduate student athletes. that's why you always see grad transfers leaving those schools, not going to them. undergrad student athletes fall under "special admissions". they generally just need to meet minimum ncaa standards. those kids playing for stanford, nd, duke, etc. didn't score a 32+ ACT and have a gpa over 4.

Ok, the kid hangs around, great. I give him that. But he steps on a pop top and boom, he's gone. Wish him the best though...

Another 4 star QB transfer to La. Tech (via Jeff Driskel) to play in an air raid type system to rack up stats and get on the NFL radar perhaps?

I thought it was very telling when our dumbass coach last week said he STILL hadn't spoken with Myles.

If he can stay healthy he will be an outstanding QB for a lucky team. This is a big loss given the state of our roster.

Really like Brennan and I think when he gets 100% he’s gonna be a frickin beast somewhere. We may very well have lost the best player on the roster. Sugar coat it all y’all want, but this hurts badly!!!
