Sam Spiegelman with Rivals is reporting that LSU quarterback Myles Brennan will be entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Brennan broke his non-throwing arm during a freak accident when he fell during a fishing trip just before LSU's fall camp was set to begin this past August.

He was LSU's starting quarterback in 2020 but suffered a season-ending lower-body injury in Week 3 vs. Missouri.

Brennan signed with LSU's 2017 recruiting class, staying on board with the Tigers after Les Miles was fired during the 2016 season.

It's a shame. I always thought he could do great things here. Good Luck wherever you land Myles.

Good luck Myles. Sorry our program is in constant transition

He bled purple and gold, and never backed down from a challenge, all the way back to his recruiting days.

Wrong. He just bailed on the team.

He never backed down but every QB we have brought in after him has started more games than him save Nuss but the season is not over yet.

ULL. Levi is a senior. They have the boy from Maryland. But myles is better

Forget that, Lions lose Cole after this year. I smell a bidding war.

Levi is the best QB in the state. What a sad day it is for LSU that ULL fields a more battle tested QB.

A great starting QB at any school in the country, but playing for a team in transition and coaching change. Good Luck!

This tells me a new coach has been agreed upon and told him to move on

Tulane? Ull? Louisiana Tech?

Nope, no way a new coach that hasn't been hired yet is making roster decisions. This is because Myles can see the writing on the wall. Lsu is moving on with MJ, Nuss, and the big recruit, while Myles finds another place to play.

Great guy wish him the best !

this guy stuck with the program at times when he could have left many times. I hope he becomes an all american.

Uh he did leave bud. Y’all are giving out brownie points for transferring later rather than sooner now? Lol

@Forever, it's either he leaves, or he never starts again unless injury. Dude stuck it out for 3 years and then was the starter for his fourth year, and got injured 3 games in. HE CAME BACK to compete in his 5th year, but hurt his arm before he even had a chance in a game. Dude has only one more year left and you want him to use it as a backup? How f-ing selfish can you be? Hopefully he gets a shot somewhere, balls out, and then heads to the draft. I mean Davis Mills was a 3rd round pick and his numbers were poor in comparison to what Brennan can do (1100 yards and 11 TDs in 3 games is air raid numbers).

Soooo he stuck around. How did that benefit LSU? Definitely did not live up to they hype.

Nebraska's going to go 3-9 this year, and Frost will get fired.

I think he could do very well at MSU. That Leach offense doesn’t need a mobile qb and with his arm he could really excel, just hopefully not against us.

I think he could start at LSU next yr with new coach! Maybe a mistake but who knows?

damn. i'm sure he'll at least wait and talk to the new hfc.

MJ would not be starting this year if he was healthy. I think MJ needs more training. O line or not he still struggled.

This is true. Johnson is the starter by default. If he's still #1 next season, we are in trouble. Not winning any championships with that kid under center. Too bad he wasn't the one that transferred.

Rats jumping off the ship. Be careful next time you go fishing Myles.

And he should. He was never tough enough for the SEC type of play. He couldn't take a hit and was too slow to get away. Best of luck to him.

Lol whatever

What specific game(s) would you say he demonstrated that he couldn't take a hit? This is one of the dumbest takes I've seen on TD in a long time.

So where is he going to "Not play" now?
