LSU backup quarterback Colin Hurley is expected to enter the transfer portal, according to Pete Nakos.

Hurley, a redshirt freshman from Miami, Fla., enrolled at LSU at only 16 years of age in January of 2024 after reclassifying in high school at Trinity Christian Academy.

The former four-star recruit did not appear in any games during his first year in Baton Rouge in 2024.

Hurley was involved in a serious single-car accident this past offseason and spent time away from the team to recover. He left the team for personal reasons in November.

Best for all. I don’t think he was a qb we could depend on.

He'll probably do well at a LA Tech or Southern Miss...like that recruit Pop Houston who everyone in NE LA is slobbering over.

How do you bleed PG and also transfer? Unless Kiffin told him it was best to transfer... then he doesn't bleed PG.

Considering he has been gone for weeks, I'm not sure this is news.

Understandable. Assuming we are going hard after a QB in the portal ourselves, it's a tough decision to stay and commit to being QB3.

Good luck young man.

However, imagine if he stayed, learned the LW/CWJr system for 2 years as an understudy, then get the keys in 2028. There's no rush - he's just now 18.

Those errors are easily avoided by just spelling the persons name
