Report: Charges Against LSU WR Malik Nabers Expected To Be Dropped With A Condition

LSU sophomore wide receiver Malik Nabers was arrested Monday night in New Orleans during Mardi Gras on a weapons charge.

According to the court document below, charges against Nabers will be dropped under the condition that he does pursue regaining possession of the firearm.

“The state of Louisiana does not prohibit the open carry of firearms in public. Therefore, it is legal in Louisiana without a permit for anyone at least 18 years old that is not prohibited from possessing a firearm. Some areas are off-limits, including parades and bars.”
