I didn’t really care at the beginning. However, pull our coaches now.

The correct response is thanking them.

No shite. First off it is undoubtedly TTTLB. The team that lane built and without these coaches he would fall flat on his face .

definitely the team that Lane built. He built it so well that a DC can take the keys and beat Georgia apparently.

So it's Lane's call

They are employed by Lane either. They are employed by Louisiana State University.

They work for Lane Kiffin.
user avatar
The coaches in question, just like Kiffin did, want the opportunity to finish the job up there and win a natty. If Kiffin yanked them now, they would no doubt carry a grudge for Kiffin, which would be bad for the LSU staff moving forward. There’s no perfect solution, but letting them continue the status quo is probably the best one.

It would certainly be the new monkey on the Ole Miss back, for sure. The rivalry would turn up several notches, especially if the coaches are pulled the night before the game.

Going forward, Ole Miss fans will be asking "Who is Billy Cannon"?

So lets play nice with the guys that are sending a Tampering Case on CLK & LSU to the NCAA. Thats on top of the obvious lack of GRATITUDE from everyone associated with OM. Lane should tell Golding & OM to GO TO HELL!!!!

Translation:

"I need them to get to championship, but I got to say I don't need them for my boss' sake"

"This might be my only chance to get to the promise land. Got to use them"

IMO, Pete Golding and Lane Kiffin are the adults in the room. It is the sport media with ESPN at the head that is trying to stir up controversy. I have no problem with Golding or Kiffin..
user avatar
Golding is a fat drunk and a terrible DC. He should be tickling Kiffins balls for giving him another opportunity in the SEC

I want one of these reporters to stand up and ask him how can they coach if they’re being accused of stealing players.. someone needs to put him on the spot about Ole Miss made accusations.
user avatar

I doubt those accusations are true….the only place I have seen that is on this board. Do you really think either coach would let them continue if that were true?

The media stirs up the issues like plastic spoons in cool-aid. Press then too hard and they crack.

There’s so much political bs involved in this… let em coach or pull them all just make a decision

I wonder how their pay works. Are they working for free for Ole Miss while on salary for LSU?
user avatar
LSUVT22 hours
Yes correct. Asst coaches signed employment contracts with LSU and are employed/paid by LSU. They have been working for free at Ole Miss. They are working 2 jobs at same time. They need to return to LSU since portal and recruiting very important to LSU's offensive rebuild

I guess "You're Welcome" is NOT in order!

He is a low-character individual.
user avatar
Let them keep coaching . Golding getting all the credit and do anything to build this team . The fall is only going to be harder once the Kiffin effect is gone …..

Why should any LSU fan care whether they finish out the season with Ole Miss or not? This coaching issue has become quite a soap opera….but I suppose that’s what people like!
user avatar
Tiger19883 days
Because they work for LSU and not Ole Piss?
user avatar
Imforlsu6443 days
Ole Piss wants them there because they know they need them, but meanwhile, they are plotting lies and sabotage to accuse LSU of tampering while K. Bolden, A. Thomas, and F. Wilson were tampering with LSU players. OM wants their cake and eat it too. Pull the coaches and focus on LSU’s 2026 season.
user avatar

Because there’s this thing called the transfer portal of which LSU needs to get a lot of players from and the timing of it is not conducive to having coaches still coaching at their old school when that’s not who they’re employed by anymore.
