LSU backup quarterback Myles Brennan sent out a positive message on Twitter Wednesday afternoon to wrap up his 2018 season with the Tigers.

Myles only appeared in one game this season vs. Rice on Nov. 17 and will redshirt this season, something Ed Orgeron and Brennan's family agreed was the right thing to do as he was dealing with an injury for most of the season.

I thought for sure after that blindside hit from that CFU bitch that Brennen would be coming in for at least a series. Joe is one tough MF'er. Joe should've told that guy "I hit your girlfriend from behind last night harder than that"!

This should be the norm. Kids feeling too entitled these days. Trust the process.

It shouldn't be the norm nowadays. These kids have more opportunities now and will take them if necessary. Too many of the older generation are stuck in the past of how things used to be.

Can't help but like this guy...he is a true Tiger! All it would take is for Burrow to get a twisted ankle or dirt in his eye and Brennan will be called to run out and take control. I appreciate Brennan's patience and dedication.

FIFY. "All it would take is for Burrow to get a twisted ankle, a cheap shot from the defense or dirt in his eye and Brennan will be called to run out and take control."

By the time he actually plays he should be a rocket scientist

This is another reason I like to stick with Steve E. The offense would be very good if our players have time to develop within it. Time needs to be given. This guy will know every aspect of the offense and the players in it. He needs to become a natural leader and hit the weight room as much as he possibly can. No knock on him, I believe he will get it done and will have a great year or two with LSU.

Agreed, He should be ready as needed next year, glad he's sticking to his commitment. Against Rice he showed he could sling it.

Most fans do not understand how valuable learning the offense, defenses, learning the system really is. With 3 years of learning by the time Myles takes the field he will be ready from a cerebral standpoint, plus any experience he gets next season. He gone b legit!

I seem to remember another QB #15 that waited patiently and took the spotlight over when it was his turn to shine. Hmmmm....
