LSU freshman wide receiver Dee Anderson was one of a few players that was upset about the news that assistant coach Dameyune Craig was fired and took to Twitter to voice his opinion on Thursday.
quote:

@DeeAnderson21
"Taking one of the best coaches off the staff? Stupid asf to me."
Anderson later deleted the tweet and issued the following apology on Friday:

Well, this kid did stupid stuff in HS that got him kicked off his team, so this is no surprise.

This is a great apology. The fact that he said it was privilege not a right is impressive to me. He's young and said something dumb. Kids make mistakes. At least he owned up to it.

Basically - "Do you wanna play next season?" "Yeah." "Then here (hands over staff written apology) tweet that immediately."

It is what is kid. Attachment breeds emotion. You're a tiger now and it's talent that will elevate you. Just remember anyone can say what they want to anything, it's all of our rights, but for the few in your position, it can come across the wrong. Go get em tiger!!!

It's a business Dee, O is just looking out for all of you guys. He will get a great replacement for you guys. He's looking out for all players and LSU bud. Chavis for Aranda, Cam for Canada, Pevito for Bobby April, all upgrades we'll be just fine boys!

Live & learn, move forward to the next day having grown. Makes sense to me.

After seeing the tweet last night and then the apology today, my opinion changed. Classy move and hopefully the fans recognize the enormous growth/learning step from HS to being immediately under a high powered microscope.

What does "asf" stand for?

"as f*ck". I usually see it just as "af" but that's what he's saying.

Coach O is busy finding you a new father figure ASAP. If you run your legs as much as your mouth we may make the big game. Tenderfoot.

Best advice I know of is stay off social media. Especially when you're angry or upset or drunk. Everyone I know could use that advice (me included). I hope this doesn't prove a hard lesson for him and he can work his way out of it. He was just breaking through too.

I wonder how much it pays to work in LSU PR and write apology tweets for players.
