LSU offensive guard Ed Ingram has been suspended from the team indefinitely for a violation of team rules, according to head coach Ed Orgeron.

Orgeron announced the news Friday and said that Ingram, a sophomore from DeSoto, Texas will not be with the team during fall camp.

Ingram played with all 13 games last season during his freshman year and started at right guard in 12 of the games. He will be replaced at guard by JUCO transfer Damien Lewis, according to Coach O.

So as of right now we'll have a total of two OL with starting experience returning. Don't care what team you are, that is not good. Thank God Burrow is a quick decision maker and we'll be running an offense that doesn't rely on a ton of slow developing plays.

There's always one, as NakaTrash said. But, the difference this year is we have some depth at OL with more than a couple competent backups. That's a good job by O to get those transfers and commits in the trenches--now we're shored up and not totally screwed by any means. Disappointing, but next man up.
