The LSU coaching staff landed a commitment from Mississippi State wide receiver Zavion Thomas out of the transfer portal.

Thomas, a sophomore from Woodmere, La. (John Ehret), caught 40 passes for 503 yards and one touchdown this past season. He also had one punt return touchdown and kick return touchdown during his time at Mississippi State.

Sadly...we lose players to the portal before the bowl game and they can't play for us but players that transfer in can't play for us either.

The players transferring out won’t take reps and time away from those who stay. This is good for development.

Looks like he is trying to build a mantra of "you can stay or come home", hoping the kids in Louisiana HS see this.

We need the best players, not the best players from LA. Take the blinders off, there's some good ones out there and Lane Kiffin is kicking our arse for em.

I trust our coaches to be able to coach a player up (see Jayden Daniels).

Rogers was not always the most accurate of passers….lets see how he can do with someone that can throw.

No way he drops more than Trey Palmer.
