Good luck to the young man and I pray his family becomes healthy again. Family always comes first, and if his family has been hit hard by COVID-19 then he should by all means take care of himself and his family and do what's in his best interests.

At most they should allow a redshirt if they haven’t, otherwise you’re gone if you are a senior no matter what.

I wish we could just call football games political protest so the China Virus would know not to infect anyone. How do we get that to trend?

Cost himself millions... he’ll regret it in 10 years when he took a year where his body would be nfl ready. Respect it but its better for his family if he makes millions playing in the nfl.

Article clearly says that this decision was influenced by his family situation. Why are you being a pos when he is doing the right thing--caring about his life? Making millions isn't always the dream for everyone on this planet. The sooner you understand it, the better you will be.

The odd thing is that he's doing it for his family. But he could make millions in less than 1 year for his family if he plays. I respect it but it's odd.

Don't know and don't care. I only care about how good he is at football for LSU and if he's not playing, he's not doing a goddamn thing for me.

I respect his decision... but doesn't he know that a vaccine is right around the corner!?!?! All he has to do is make it to early/mid October when they drop the vaccine so everybody will be healthy and able to vote!
