Still got alot of salary to prove. Was good to see some glimmers of improvement throughout the season but $2.5MM, gotta see consistency.

LSU is monumentally overpaying for a 3-5 loss per year program. Fire bk

The bulk of them have been employed less than one year. They also have not had their handpicked players nor players existing on the team designed to play the style/system of the present coaches?

If you turn out half of your leaders and a third of your employees at your company, do you expect the operation not to have a sizable number of issues?

15 years ago you woulda had valid points. There’s no player consistency from year to year now. The few highly rated 4 and 5 star players now are just at LSU playing football on 1 year deals. From the time they show up to camp until the season ends it’s 6 months or so and these are all temporary hires on 1 season deals. Coaches can’t build or maintain anything like that.

LSU is overpaying its coaches and has unreasonable expectations on what these coaches can achieve here. Bigtime overpaying.

The preparation, or lack there of, for teh TAM game was where this team unraveled. Baker should give some of that $ back.

Maybe it's the other coaches especially F Wilson and the other coaches getting less than Baker
user avatar

And all together they make less than the head coach

Disagree. It unraveled at that game sure, but they were very well prepared.

I'm not certain it's wise to give a lot of time preparing for a backup QB. If they had, maybe the starter does better because they weren't so prepared for him.

Didn't we know this when he took the job? I thought I was gonna read that we gave him a raise cause someone was after him. Didn't I hear something about him and Tulane?

He definitely earned it. Look at what he turned around. Drastic difference. If we could run the ball and stop the running qb, we are top 12

This is why everyone is leaving, he's fired then pd 3x to come back along with the other coaches fired and brought back and every top 10 coach paid less is in the playoffs not all Baker's fault maybe he should be head coach with same salary

1. Baker was never at LSU before this year. 2. He wasn't fired, left Mizzouri. 3. What other coachs were fired and brought back?
user avatar
BTRDD13 months
I'm not sure if he earned it this year.

They were last, triple digits on Def last year, this year 59. I think he earned it.
