I’ve been trying to tell y’all. Riley was never the target. Besides his teams are soft as fuk. Woodward knows that.

He hasn’t heard our strong arse offer.

Soft AF Riley was never even offered the job. That's why he isn't being offered a new contract to stay. Soft as Charmin.

Good, maybe we'll hire the coach who is actually coaching in the Big 12 championship and knows LSU.

Yes, technically that’s right. But man, it would be really weird to make a strong statement like that if you know the news will come out in a few days that you are going to LSU.

Too elaborate for THAT to be the angle.

I don’t think LR will be the next HC, but Saban said the same thing before going to Bama and I believe Mel Tucker said it before leaving for Michigan St. It’s not like coaches constantly tell the truth.

We need to give him a new name, maybe Billy Bayou or something.

We all heard a certain midget say this once. Just as emphatically. The only difference was Riley didn’t say “aight?”

I’m not sure Lincoln was ever the target. IDK who it is, but something hasn’t felt right about the rumors on Lincoln.

If it’s not Aranda or Fickell at this point then I will be very disappointed and please for the love of all that is holy not Bill O’Brien! That Bama offense is garbage. But whoever it is they better get it done like yesterday with the signing period coming

His coaching record is masked by playing in a conference of no-defense nobodies. Arandas is as well, but at least we’ve seen Aranda succeed in the SEC because he coaches defense, and LSU had an offense that kept the defense off the field (most of the time) at the time allowing plenty of rest during games. I don’t know who LSU hires, but anyone is better than the two potatoes we’ve had the last two decades.

No one remember Saban saying pretty much the same thing and flying off in the Blockbuster plane to Miami the next day….?
