Outside of one long touchdown run by the Gamecocks last week, LSU's defense played lights out in the 20-10 win over South Carolina.

Daul-threat quarterback LaNorris Seller was kept in check by LSU's front all night, and the secondary blanketed South Carolina wide receivers on the back end.

Sellers passed for 124 yards on 27 attempts and completed just one pass that traveled over 10 yards in the air.

You insufferable fricks, the offense did come to play. We scored twice as many points as the other team. We won the game. Not by a last minute field goal, not by a walk off pick 6, but by the offense scoring points. Be happy we are a 5-1 team, and showed a huge improvement this past week.

Amen. Offense moved the ball down the field all night long. Not perfect. Nuss was 20-33 with 5 drops. The two turnovers on the goal line weren’t helpful but didn’t stop the offense the next time they got the ball. Could have been better but a 10 pt SEC win is good any way you look at it

Dominant SEC defense wasted on a Junior High offense.

I'm making a list of you people. When LSU is in the playoffs and you jump back on the band wagon I will bring your past to everyone's attention

We can hate that the offense is terrible and still root for the team to win. It’s the same as lamenting over when we had Daniels and the number 1 offense in college football, but the defense was historically bad. It’s handicapping this team from being elite.

The offense is still good enough to win games. They left at least 14 points on the field. They're moving the ball, just shooting themselves in the foot. That defense in 23 was historically bad, this yrs offe se is not

All the doubting Thomases on this site. Delighting in criticism of a team that is 5-1 is odd behavior for so called fans.

The slide will start in Nashville. Our OL is still a liability and Nuss is not the Nuss from last year. I hope we make 8-4. Playoffs is an after-thought. CBK is just not right for LSU. Sloan is an average OC. BB is an elite DC. He will be gone before next year begins. I hope CBK goes to PSU.

No good if the offense is incapable.

LSU's defense will hopefully get LSU to an 8-4 record and somewhat respectable bowl.
