Kelvin Joseph Is Transferring To Kentucky

Former LSU defensive back Kelvin Joseph is transferring to Kentucky, according to Justin Rowland with Rivals.

Joseph chose the Wildcats over Florida and others in the SEC.

Joseph entered in his name in NCAA Transfer portal two different times this offseason but is officially headed to Kentucky now.

Joseph was a highly recruited safety from Scotlandville Magnet in Baton Rouge for the 2018 class but moved to cornerback for his freshman season because of depth issues in LSU's secondary.

His response to all of this was tweeting at the Kentucky news twitter "I NEED SHOUTOUT" This guy is a narcissistic headcase, might miss his talent on the field, but not his attitude on the team. Good luck Kentucky.

Sad to see. Wish him luck. Would've had quite a nice year here. But damn. I guess he'll be in the NFL soon. He's definitely that talented. But if he can't outcompete our younger talent, he's either not as good as we thought, afraid of competition, or our underclassmen are just freaks. The first two will hurt his draft stock. Hope it all works out for him.

Update, Savion Smith entered the NFL Draft. Went undrafted, eventually signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
