2019 was the worst thing for Grant Delpit's career. If he could have went pro in 2018 he was the first safety off the board and a top 8 pick. The man plays all 2019 through multiple injuries for his team just for his stock to plummet to the mid second round. It's messed up that if he would have pulled a Nick Bosa and sit out after injury, like the year before, he would have been a top 10 pick with 10x the money. I'm glad we got to see him another year and it was awesome to watch his determination to support his brothers en route to a natty. I just wish he had gotten what he deserved, and pick #44 was not it.

Dude he’s going to get plenty of money. He could make that up on the back end of his deal once he’s got NFL value and the browns have competition to keep him. He’s one of very few who was drafted so I’m sure he’s ok with his status. It was also a product of preseason prep for a semi new position for him as well. He played closer to the LOS last year which suits his skills much more imo. He’s a grade A tackler and he’s a grade A QB rusher but for what ever reason his judgement on balls and his angles were simply off this year. It wasn’t just injury imo unless he was injured from the start of the season to the middle of it. He did improve toward the end of it.
