LSU has announced that freshman linebacker Donte Starks has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.

Starks, a former four-star prospect from Marrero, Louisiana, played in three games this past season, mostly on special teams, and did not record a tackle.

Love that coach isn’t putting up with anything. We need talent but heart and morality is just as important

People need to chill. It is possible he does his pennance and makes his way back to the team. Suspended indefinitely does not always mean permanently.

It seems the media and some NeverTigers have tried( in vain) to push a negative agenda concerning LSU’s National Championship. All is weaux for these always negative people. Some need to shut the #^*+ up and bask in the positives that is LSU’s sports ?? ?? ?? ?? ????? at this moment in time.

At this point, our only true inside LBs are Damone Clark and Micah Baskerville if I'm correct. Marcel Brooks played inside LB in Highschool but I don't think he has the size to play 3 downs in the SEC at that position. We will need some unproven guys to step up and add much needed depth.

Kendall McCallum is another young inside LB on the roster. Besides that we may be relying on the freshman in the 2020 class to serve immediate back up roles.

First thing that popped in my head was that gif of the kid saying “fun, fun, fun fun fun” repeatedly. Man we really don’t need this, especially at that position.

Not good. Not good at all. As we are very thin at inside linebacker going into 2020. I heard like Kelvin Joseph, he was trying to become a rapper. That didn't turn out too well for Joseph.

Besides my main man Mr. James, the westbank has seen all kinds of mess-ups from purse stealers to drug dealers and habitual dummies. Of course there were success stories too so I guess it is good to pick the roses knowing thorns exist.

Come on big fella. Get your head back in the game and get your degree & hopefully, play for LSU or some other team. Good luck to you and hope you get your life straightened out.

You’d be surprised of the names that you would consider “stupid”. He just got caught more. I’m sure the downvoted are really the most perfect people. That’s fine. You have to look yourself in the mirror. Lie to a message board...not yourself.

I was never suspended/fired for smoking weed. If that’s what it is.

For those of you on your high horse about not getting caught smoking weed (or any other recreational drugs) it is most likely because your chosen profession didn't test for it.
