Former LSU running back Chris Curry announced Wednesday that he will be transferring to Utah to finish his college career.

Curry, who wore No. 18 for the Tigers in 2020, finished with just 145 yards on 45 carries this past season. His departure leaves LSU with four scholarship running backs remaining who played last season.

The Tigers also signed four-star running back Corey Kiner and Armoni Goodwin during the early signing period in December.

I hope Utah fans are getting pumped reading this. I think they have a real winner in Chris Curry. I don’t like to see him go but They Really should be excited. I will be searching out their games next season.

Chris worked his arse off here to get better, always played hard on Saturdays and represented himself & the program with class. Wish him nothing but the best of luck and I hope he gets to play more. Thanks Chris for being a Tiger

He just happened to be at LSU along with several other Great RBs & he wasn’t able to get much PT but he never seemed pissed or offended by it. He ran hard every time he got the rock! Good luck son.
