Former LSU QB Walker Howard Announces Transfer To Ole Miss

Former LSU quarterback Walker Howard announced Wednesday morning that he is transferring to Ole Miss.

Howard entered the transfer portal last week and picked the Rebels over TCU.

The former five-star prospect from St. Thomas More High School in Lafayette, La., appeared in two games this season with just four pass attempts. His father is former LSU quarterback Jamie Howard.

Ole Miss actually has a Banner for the 2003 SEC West Championship. LSU beat Ole Miss at Hotty Toddy Stadium, won the SEC Championship, and won the National Championship. That is all Ole Miss has accomplished in Football since last winning an SEC Title in 1963. STTDB!

I guess Lane isn't going to be complaining about the portal now. Howard will do good in Lane's system. I wish he had stayed here, but I can't blame him for wanting to get playing time quicker, which that is the only reason he is transferring.
