On Tuesday, former LSU offensive lineman Kardell Thomas announced on social media that he has committed to Florida A&M.

Thomas signed with LSU in 2019 as a highly recruited offensive lineman from Southern Lab in Baton Rouge. He appeared in just 11 games over the last three years, with two starts.

He entered the transfer portal in January.

I hope he gets his degree as he’s probably a long shot for even the XFL!! Best of luck!

Them and FSU share an engineering dept. Maybe he can get some free shoes?

Wishing him the best. Hope he does well. I wish LSU would have went back to the big physical offensive guards and nimble fast and strong tackles. If your road graders are solid then they pave the way for the running backs. True iron man physical football.

Yeah that Les Miles offense was something to behold.

Remember his recruiting highlights at a camp where he was acting like a maniac and yelling at other kids about how he was dominating them.

He should be able to dominate at that level. Thanks for being a Tiger, Kardell!

Man, Kardell is a great guy and a wonderful kid when coming out of high school. HE WAS ALL LSU. He was wanted to win four national championships. Unfortunately, several reasons, he was never able to make his dream come true at LSU. I can assure you he's disappointed, too. The kid loved LSU.

He was certainly 100% all Tiger coming in. I'm grateful for him being our biggest recruiter of his own class that year.. wished it would have worked out better for him here and best wishes for him on his journey elsewhere.

Why not finish at LSU & maybe be part of a championship. The Rattlers will get him more playing time but no chance at a SEC championship or even a NCAA playoff spot.

Maybe he wanted to actually play the game.

Can you read? He barely played here.
