Based on your past assessments of LSU, it's better for us that you keep doubting, Kirk. And while you're at it, tell Corso to avoid picking the Tigers from now on.

My favorite Herbstreit eating crow moment was when I was on the field for the 2003 National championship working for ABC (csb, I know). Post game, a LSU fan yells, “How bout them tigers now Kirk?...ya biatch.” He was pretty quiet until LSU fans started throwing bottles towards the stage, which was a bit classless.

Hahaha I was there as well. I will always remember this. That’s awesome that someone else doses as well.

It's okay Kurt, we forgive you!

Why does anyone have to apologize for guessing who will win a game?

He was probably bombarded by angry baws.

This. He was wrong, it’s not a big deal. He’s not Jesus. He can’t see the future. He’s making semi-educated guesses like everyone else. What kind of emo nonsense is it to be slighted because someone picked against my team?

Over the years, I’ve seen Herbie give plenty of ptlrops to LSU. In fact, I remember him arguing with Chris Fowler the year Fowler suggested that Ga. was the better team when LSU won the NC. Kirk basically told Fowler on the air that he was full of crap.

Well in his defense, when he pick d Miami on Gameday, he said he had a bad feeling bc typically every time the panel picks the same team, the other team ends up winning. Glad to see that he actually had the decency to admit when he was totally wrong and off base. Ninety-nine percent of the media has no idea how to do that these days.

Best cfb analyst at ESPN. Gets it wrong on LSU. Instead of making excuses or ignoring it, apologizes admits he was wrong. And compliments LSU. LSU fans call him idiot and loser. Stay classy Tigers.
