Knee-jerk reaction from a TYPICAL impatient $EC fanbase... one bad season does not a coach make.... Especially after Coach O brings LSU a Natty in 2019

He did not have them prepared for the first three weeks of the season. When should we react?

Good move. No more guessing about what’s going on. LSU deserves the best and will get the best. O blew it but we’re forever grateful for that magical season.

LSU is a top 5 in country job and reported by media to be number 2 job in SEC behind obviously Bama. Better than USC of course, who so far is the only other football Giant looking for a new leader of football right now. The future will be BRIGHT for LSU as long as Woodward can make HIS hire without meddling, woke, leftist racist CRT GARBAGE from Tate. Keep Tate out of it, and do NOT hire a new coach based solely on being a POC. if it so happens POC (like Aranda - I’m in with him 100%) is the best choice then hire him. But do NOT make this a leftist democrat “must be” a POC hire. Too much at stake here. Just hire the BEST available and willing, whomever that might be.

Why is crt racist?

LSU is a football school. University president should be reporting to the Athletic Director. Academics and research should be secondary to football. When someone asks you about LSU and the only thing you can think about is athletics, then Athletic Director should make all the decisions.

By the downvotes here, looks like a lot of sniveling woke leftist soy infused pussy farts are reading.

So why is he out? More than just a mediocre season or did he do something else wrong? I know a new AD finds a way to get his own guy in but pushing the guy out is a bit much. Just wondering.

How I know you don’t follow LSU very much…….. your post. Yes, MANY off field issues, and take away lightning in a bottle 2019 with Joe Brady, Joe Burrow and Aranda LSU is paying 9 mil a year for basically a near .500 Coach. Combine that with massive off field behavior issues, title IX problems, and overall direction of the program, it is an obvious correct choice.

Now if we can just separate LSU from Tate and Woodward a new day will emerge.

CDawson, yup. Woodward has to have LSU as many games as possible. It makes it look like he actually made a good decision. You undermine the present coach by leaking the info, thereby causing more loses.

He knows what expected of him here at LSU more than anyone and he realizes he is a 'homer'. I wish him nothing but the best...Go Tigers and thanks mon vieux ami!

Interesting situation. No idea who the next coach will be but they have some time to do a proper search.

So now being fired is a “separation agreement”..lol

Being fired means you are relieved of your job duties right then. When you are under a contract, and they want you to leave before finishing that contract (plus not pay everything owed), you have to come up with a separation agreement. This isnt the equivalent of firing the cashier at the snowball stand.

This was actually a smart way of doing it. Let any coaching candidate know there will be an opening here so others can’t get a head start on them. And let the players he got finish the season playing for him instead of jumping in a transfer portal.

look at all of you freaking loser Orgeron fans and not LSU fan. screw all of y’all for wanting to keep this piece of shite. Media will not make a decision. Mira didn’t get their way with the baseball coach your dumbasses. Didn’t get their way with the basketball coach you dumb arse is. And if you’re saying Kim mochas overpay, screw you. Media didn’t get his way with him anywhere. So one of y’all go back to the freaking Swanson put on your Back water hackberry Reeboks and get on a shrimp boat.

Everyone already knew this was coming. Now you can go out and have a legitimate search that is not under the table. It is out in the open.

Time to hire whoever the media deems is the next up and comer. Tom Herman available? Maybe Curley Hallman? Geaux Tigers. Do your due diligence. Which in this day and age means hiring someone with media approved opinions and belief system. Good luck.

Probably my favorite LSU coach from a human standpoint. And 2019 will never be topped in my lifetime most likely. I am content with the decision but still a bit sad that it has to happen, but, it does. Thanks O.
