John Battle is the kind of guy you want beside you in the fox hole. He defended a friend and coach who could not afford to get mixed up in a fight. Good for John Battle. Where is the suspension from the SEC for that POS Dameyne Craig at TAM and the moron who punched Kragthorp? frick the SEC and Sanky.

Punishment should be having to be the first one on the bus ready to ride to the airport for a bowl game.

Should suspend him the first LSU Offensive play only.

Bet that SEC/Stinkey told him for appearances it had to be done. Screw them. If you go back and watch, he exercised some pretty decent restraint. He only punched once, in defense of someone else, right? He could have done a real beat down.

Booo. He was defending another person. Should be treated no different than if he was defending himself.

That's a good response. He's 'reprimanded' to satisfy the SEC but we won't tell them anything detailed.
