Devin White Shares What Tom Brady Has Taught Him In Tampa Bay
by TD Staff ReporterJanuary 21, 2021

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports
Former LSU star Devin White spoke with Peter King recently and shared what Tom Brady has taught him this past year in Tampa Bay.
White, who was snubbed from the Pro Bowl, also received some great words from Brady about the "bigger bowl" the Buccaneers are chasing. Per The Spun:
White, who was snubbed from the Pro Bowl, also received some great words from Brady about the "bigger bowl" the Buccaneers are chasing. Per The Spun:
quote:
“Thing I love about Tom is he’s always teaching,” White said. “Teaching me how to be a great leader. Every single day, every single practice, he puts the team before himself. First few days he’s in the locker room, we’re all like, ‘We’re in the locker room with the greatest quarterback of all time! Like, I wanna talk to him, I wanna get a picture with him.’ But then, he’s your teammate. You’re here for a reason.”
“Few weeks ago, I was kinda upset I didn’t make the Pro Bowl. He’s like, ‘D, there’s a bigger bowl I’m chasing. We’re all chasing it. C’mon,’” White said. “I just thought, man, it’s a blessing to hear that. I need to hear that. This thing’s about us. He’s still chasing those bowls in his forties. I am just so grateful to be able to spend this time with him.”

He had be told to leave He’s the best. Tidbit. Had Fournette and Guice not been so successful at LSU White may have become RB. He was all state at RB LB in HS. Some said he was a better runner. GREAT KID

LB is my favorite position to watch. I never thought someone would, in my mind, be higher on my list than Bradie James, but along came Devin. I really love watching him play.
I believe, when his career is done, he will be remembered among the greatest to play the position.

And maybe... just maybe... come back and coach dem tigahs?!?! -thats my wet dream anyways

He can’t coach dem tigahs for the same reason Kevin Mawae won’t ever coach dem tigahs. We all just say “ain’t got no experience” and then we hire buffoonery for coaches instead.

I am just grateful to have met that great man of a LB when he took time to teach young girls how to trot a horse. One of the best ambassadors of the P&G and works like a pro

We recruited him as a rb..Saban wanted him at lb. Because we promised him a shot at rb, he came here.
Didn't take long for him to see he had quicker playing time at lb

Devin White is going to be a great player for a long time. He has all the athletic attributes plus he’s smart and instinctive. Wish he’d go to a different division though...

Devin is fine where he is and will be a dominate linebacker for years to come. And naturally he'll give the "Aints" hell like he did in the resent playoff game!

Good to hear he is smart enough to watch and learn and to listen to what TB has to say. Will pay off in his career and life

Level headed! With that said, the fact he wasn't first team all-pro and not selected to the pro bowl is a crime!
